The Fall of the House of Fifa

Interesting excerpt published in The Guardian of David Conn's book on corruption at the top of the game.

Over a 3-hour lunch, the author interviews Sepp Blatter, providing an interesting view of the man who was the head of world football for decades.

In many ways, Blatter appears totally out of touch with reality, but he also offers us a different viewpoint on the workings of FIFA.

Blatter trying to stay relevant!!!!!!!

He needs to just crawl off and do things that people of his age do, like sh!t themselves, dribble down they're chins and watch countdown.

Deluded, arrogant and quite clearly corrupt.

I actually believe he is so deluded and arrogant that he doesn't even realise he's corrupted the worlds favourite sport on many occasions.

García report out today. Pretty anticlimactic, apparently.

Btw, KLS, the article was an excerpt of a book that's just been published, but the interview itself seems to be from shortly after Blatter got banned.
