City ladies just cleaned up on trophies and nobody gives a feck in Manchester honestly. Not even City fans I know.
Real Madrid n Juventus are only launching their women's teams this summer also.

...as in world-renowned football brands are coming to consider that it's in their interests to get in on the act. This is an argument against?

Even with the success of Citys ladies side, according the recent figures sales of branded tea towels, mops and ironing board covers hasn't seen the spike the experts predicted.
For that reason, I'm oot.

But they don't have ed. he will have branded dilddo's shaped like players ccck's, with snazzy names 'the poggo stick', 'Rooneys troll shaft', 'Phil's snapped pennis'.
Ma Utd brand gimp masks. Jose branded whips, lingard fishnet stocking.

The standard of women's football is pretty good. Probably better if United stay out of it.

It's not a good standard though is it? What would be the highest level the best womens team could possibly compete at in the mens game?

Not high, was the American team not beaten by San Jose under 16's 8-2 or something? And as I understand, the American women's team are pretty good.
But that's besides the point, it's in its infancy. You out Stanley Mathews all conquering teams of the 50's vs an under 16 team from somewhere like hill, they'd get trounced.
I'm not saying it will ever reach make equivellent (physiologically women have a huge disadvantage) so it's highly unlikely. But with investment it could get a decent profile. You can complain about it being a crap standard and for many reasons it's the case, but when you've got billions flowing into all areas of the men's game and tuppence to the women, what do you expect?

Manc. The people who care are all the girls who dream of playing for a women's team of the club they and their families support. And their parents and siblings and friends. And the people who go to watch.
So that's thousands then who care.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This. A lot of girls support the club, and go to matches, often with their dads. I know at City they really like the women's team and identify with the players. Who tbh are often better role models than the over privileged men. It strengthens the club and the community around it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Read both paragraphs of drivel and I still don't give a feck that we don't have a women's team. I would never watch them anywhere and would make diddly squat difference to my life.
