This guy really needs to kick on next season. He has bags of ability but for the most part of last season it didn't work out for the guy.
He regressed from his debut season which wasn't perfect either by the way but much better. Sometimes people are under the illusion he had an amazing first season which isn't totally true. It was very good for a youngster in his 1st season but he was inconsistent then also. Wasn't even on the shortlist for YPOTY.
I also hear a lot of fans blaming Jose for his poor form. Not the case imo. Jose gave him plenty of opportunities including in many big games to become a regular but it was often a case of one step forward two steps back. Whenever he had a good game and seemed to be regaining form he'd follow it up with 2-3 poor games and you can understand why he was then dropped.
He needs to show his talent more next season and work hard to make himself a top player. If he applies himself I do think he can become a world class player in the future.

I fear that Martial might never live up to his potential.
He just strikes me as one of the hundreds of youngsters who have the talent, but not the work ethic/attitude to ever fully realize their potential.
In an ideal world, every youngster would have Ronaldo's determination and work ethic, but sadly, 95% of them don't.
