Looks like his days at Arsenal are done , so simple question would he be a good buy for Tottenham?
His not linked with us so this is purely for people's thoughts.
I don't think his half as bad as that lot make out .

I have always thought he was better than he got crediit for. Not an elite striker, but a solid PL 9 with a good scoring record.
He does fancy himself though. A bit more humility would not go amiss, seems obsessed with his appearance. Celebrating his goal extravagantly against Bouremouth when Arsenal were still not winning was a sign of ego

He is a good looking guy to be fair. Surprisingly good when hosting This Morning too, never would have thought it after his car crash Xfactor debut

I would definitely have him if he was willing to be an understudy to Kane. His goals ratio for Arsenal is almost one in two, despite him making a fair few sub appearances.
We would be hard pressed to find a better back up to Kane and with us being in four competitions again next year he would surely get plenty of games.
Plus I've just had a look at his salary and he is 'only' on £60k a week so we could give him a 20k a week pay rise and still be well within our wage budget.

I'd have him at Spurs just to improve our ratio of beards, currently its only Kane's feeble bumfluff effort and to be honest, if Spurs are going to make it big, on a global scale, we need more beautifully coiffured players. In this respect Giroud could be a mentor to some of our younger players and give them the benefit of his knowledge and hairdressing connections. Sh!t player though

You wouldn't want him as a starter, but can't see him being happy on the bench at a club like Spurs.

my personal opinion on Giroud is that he is underated by arsenal fans... I usually judge a player by how worried I feel when they play against spurs...
I hate it when I see Giroud come off the bench for arsenal when they play against us, because I find him a huge threat especially from set pieces...... where we are awful defensively.
wouldn't want him at spurs though

why not? just purely due to the Arsenal connection?
your description on him above seems to point in the direction of a decent signing...

personally I want a young pacey striking option.

Hypothetically as back up to Kane then yes, but that is unrealistic
