If they were on top form and both currently playing for Mexico we wouldn't be able to afford them, that they both have in the last few years and are still the right side of 30 is a positive.

The Mexican league is also got to be a few levels above the Scottish so it bodes well.

The thing that cracks me up a little is that Pedro kept going on about how his players last year didn't know what it was like to play for Rangers, lack of fight and will to win and get stuck in etc.

How are 11 foreigners supposed to know the identity of the club when the only time they've seen Rangers is when they skipped past them playing FIFA?

But joking aside.. just because they might have been struggling for form last year, doesn't mean the world.

Just look at Sinclair for us.

Same with Forster.. couldn't get a game at Newcastle when we signed him.

That said, it was maybe a bit easier for them as the culture is very similar both on the field and off it, between England and Scotland. Might be a bit harder for the Mexican boys, especially the language barrier.
