I'd keep the guy for another season, he arrived late and never got a pre-season with us, with how Poch plays he really needed that.
But after a year of learning Pochs way and a chance to fully prepare this pre-season I would like him to be kept.
He's a decent squad player and versatile, would like to see him played more centrally than always out on the wing.
Yeah we could sell him but his replacement could be even worse and they would need time to settle in etc.
Plus Sissoko is experienced at a high level in regards to international football which is always handy to have in and around the squad, especially with the all the young players within our squad.
I'm probably being more bias as I've always rated him since he was at Toulouse and always wanted him to sign for us for ages, and was annoyed when Newcastle got him originally.
I'm probably the 1% that thinks he should stay though

Not that he is a goalscorer to be fair, so not right to use that as a a comparison. Just showing Son was tangibly contributing in season 1.
The point is, Son showed promise in some games. Looked terrible in some, but was outstanding in others. For a youngster new to the country.
Sissoko has looked pretty much awful. He has several years of PL experience, and is at his peak.

It's frustrating he always gets put out in the wing instead of more central where I'm sure we would of seen a much better player

There's a reason Sissoko hasn't been played CM for Newcastle, France or Spurs. He would be an even bigger liability there
