Possible signings

Hope everyone had a good weekend.

I'm not sure if anyone managed to see BR's interview towards the end of last week with Celtic TV but a few points I thought were quite interesting.

First off, he was asked about Hayes and he basically said he had wanted him in for a while which backs up what Hayes said himself, I don't think anyone is under any illusions we'll be hoping for someone else to come in as a wide man.

Second point was the potentials for other additions, he said that at the end of last season he had two players in mind to bring in before the qualifiers, one was Hayes and another. Lots of rumours about who the other player is, Bojan and Borini are the two biggest names to be mentioned. Bojan would be an unbelievable signing but he must be on over 70K a week at Stoke and would surely cost close to £10M so I can't see it. Borini I don't rate personally but then again, Sinclair wasn't my cup of tea either from watching him at times so you never know how they'll turn out.

After he mentioned the 2nd signing he said then he wants to wait a few weeks as he knows how the English market works, players start to become available at the end of July, start and middle of August. He also said with the level the players are at it now compared to last season it allows him to be able to do that and not rush into any signings.

All in all very positive, I'm just rather gutted to learn we only have 2 titles within the last 6 years and 1 in a row.
