Paolo Maldini

Paolo Maldini turns 49 today, very much a happy birthday for one of the best defenders to play the game. An interesting fact, he's now actually a professional Tennis player for anybody who didn't know. He recently qualified for the ATP Milan Challenger in a doubles tournament with partner Stefano Landonio.

Seems a strange one to become a pro at another sport at his age. But who is to stop him. Maldini to become the oldest Wimbledon champion in the next couple of years?

Lol you think he has a chance at Wimbledon, what a joker you are.

You thought I was being serious about a 49 year old professional winning Wimbledon?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Of course you weren't.

You said in a couple of years...

Now I'm going to ask if you think I was being serious. Never mind.

I really don't think you understand sport OP just because you are good at one doesn't mean you are good at another. Look at Michael Jordan, Bo Jackson or Brock Lesnar.

My reply was not intended to seriously question your thoughts in the OP.

Whilst the challenger tour is technically the second tier.

In doubles, it is essentially the fourth or fifth tier.

Still, i like Paolo.

Good luck to him!
