What's Giroud's Best Move?

If the press is right, choices for him are:

Stay at Arsenal in a similar role to last season.

Become West Ham's number 1.

Move to Lyon.

I think Lyon is a backward step, I don't see any merit in moving there for him due to the league being far weaker. There's more weight in goals scored here. So that leaves stay put or be number 1 at West Ham. Personally I want Giroud kept. He proved his worth last season. I think with better rotation, we can still get another 5 goals out of him.

That said though, I can see a move to West Ham potentially giving OG one hell of a career boost. That's one team where he will have no shortage of crosses into the box (something he is near starved of at Arsenal). Giroud has been and consistently stayed the best striker in the air in this league, since he arrived. Nobody's nodded it home more times. His aerial ability combined with West Ham's gameplay could well be a match which sees him romp to a near 30 goal season. If we sell him, I actually want it to be the Hammers just to see.

If you were Giroud's agent, which would you deem the best for your client. Stay Gunners Super Sub or take a gamble on himself and become West Ham's Aerial Assassin?

A mate of mine had a bloke at work called Eddie the spade because he was really good at digging holes.

WB2 the spade seems apt considering this.

WB2, some are only to bully others. They arent able to discuss and end up in pure drivel. Keep up.

Sorry, typo or not, saying Giroud will score 25-30 goals a season for West Ham is still being silly.

Only if you believe it inconceivable that he could score more goals in a season at West Ham than he did at Arsenal. It's not, it's entirely possible for the man to do better in another team that is weaker than ours. If said team plays to his strengths in a way we never did.

And like I keep saying, it wouldn't take many more goals than he's scored at Arsenal, he's in the 20-25 bracket. You're saying its impossible like he's only ever got 10 goals before now.

Why do you doubt my understanding of the English language? If you would be able to talk German as good as I am able to understand the English language the world would be a better place.

In Football everything is possible or did you believe that Leicester won the title?

Stop being such a drama queen, when did I say it was impossible?

I do think it's highly unlikely though, which it is. Even you must agree with that.

I would agree unlikely but wouldn't go as far as "highly" since I don't think its that big a stretch. But I anticipate a bigger difference in his service than many on here. If I was giving odds on it as a bookie, I'd not give any more than 5-2 on the bet. Far far stranger things than Giroud getting a handful more goals have happened in the PL before now.
