I'm pretty sure since the start of the year we have been linked / done deal with this player... but for the life of me I can't work out where he'll play. I can't see him being our #10, he's not really a CM and he's not going to play on the wing. Does anyone believe he's actually coming to us ?

I like him... Been following him since his Porto days.
Why wouldn't he play #10 or left like he has throughout his career?
We struggled for goals all season... He scores quite a few. Still a good age too.
I just think he's made a few bad career choices... There's a good player in there though

I wouldnt deal with Real Madrid ever again. After placing a ridiculous price tag on Morata , wouldnt surprise me if they do the same with James. And it only seema to apply to English clubs. Fack em.

I think there could be something in the rumours... We don't need to rush that deal through as much, as we have options in that position, so will maybe hold back until they drop the fee.

I have no doubt that he would be an excellent #10 but then you have to question the use of Pogba. It would appear in the "media" that we are looking for a defensive minded midfielder which frees Pogba to go forward in a 433. A 4231 which need to be used with James will leave Pogba in midfield and IF James would be on the right wing he will cut in and drift towards the #10 area leave Valencia to cover the whole right side alone like he does with Mata.
I think James is a talent, but I don't see how we could use him/ keep him happy
