Last week or so when coming on this site on my phone I've once in a while had a 'spin the wheel to win a prize ad pop up. Back button won't take me back to the site. Only thing to do is close the window and start again.
Seems that one of your advertisers is a rogue.

Hmm, just had a look at that URL and can see my network provider, phone model, location (although incorrect), custom Android OS build...
Any idea how that information is so readily available? Some kind of cookie from the spam site?

I don't think it's to do with the spam site.
Even when someone copies a link from Google images on here, you can see the same info in the url too.

Mostly its the browser referrer information, that goes along with all requests you make from your phone. For some phones it is almost like a fingerprint. Particularly phones that have been rooted or have dodgy apps installed.
