They can obviously pay more but there was no reported interest in him from anywhere!

I remember when illaramendi left Madrid and a few clubs in the prem where linked with him and he went to Sociadad!

Sandro could go 1 of 2 ways, total sh!te or he could turn out to be a really good player and at the price they've paid for him it doesn't matter if he bombs because they get the money back.

If he does well he's a steal.

You're wrong yet again KLS, both Madrid clubs were linked, the reason he didn't sign for Atletico was due to their transfer ban. I don't remember a queue of clubs lining up for Matip.

Would that be the Matip who came on a free and looked one of the best Centerbacks in the league last season and backs it up with great stats for us???

I didn't see him linked with anyone bar Everton and as I said it could be a great signing.

The owner won't spend. He has seen examples of their clubs that only spend what they generate from sales

No appetite to sell Lukaku hence the inflated price we have slapped on him.

Clubs could have Morata or Lacazette for less so why pay over the odds for a flat track bully like Rom

Maybe I'm being harsh but it just looks like they've signed a bunch of midtable players.

I don't any of the top 6 are looking on with envy with any of those signings.

If they lose Lukaku they'll be worse off than last season imo.
