Yes Scouse I didn't realise I'd done that. But let's face it they were very good players and in those days the animosity between United and Liverpool wasn't as bad as it is now.

When I was a young boy my hero and most of my pal's hero was the great Duncan Edwards. I was most upset when he died and can remember this better than when I heard about President Kennedy. If Edwards had lived Bobby Moore wouldn't have got 10 caps. I always thought Moore was over rated and thought Colin Todd was better. Not many agree with that though.

VC, the hatred of ManU is nothing to do with me living in Liverpool, (I'm Derbyshire born & bred). It is because I lived in the North West of the county near Buxton, (my mum is still there) and we got the papers which were printed in Manchester. It was always ManU on the back pages, even when we were winning championships in the 70's.

Imagine having McFarland with Todd as sweeper today!!!!
