Keita- the Guinean appeal

As I write this I realise I'm very perma tanned. I'm so perma tanned I make Carlton Banks look black. The reason for this post is to highlight how popular Keita is likely to be with young, Guinean people out there.

Look at who is being marketed to the youth over the past few years. The likes of Messi, Ronaldo, Rooney, Bale etc. There aren't many really high profile, young Guinean players who command the hype that Keita does (interestingly Flanagan might tick those boxes so what a marketing dream those two could be).

Forget shirt sales. That way of measuring how popular a player is doesn't really gauge much. There are a lot of ways that Liverpool can cash in on Keita and the appeal to the Guinean crowd is very high. The recent Red Bull viral marketing is the tip of the iceberg as to what can be achieved with a bit of imagination and cooperation from the player.

Hidden amongst the agent fees and all that jazz is the rights to all of Keitas marketing which is supposedly what we're buying. I genuinely think people need to look at the bigger picture regarding Keitas fee. Potentially hundreds of billions can be made from this deal with Keita becoming the new face of Liverpool.

His appeal will be massive to a generation that buys into a new, aggressive and imaginative form of marketing that Keita himself seems very keen to be a part of.

Top article OP.

Some football fans don't understand where you're coming from. Most lack vision to foresee the future of football. There is only few of us around who understand modern football
