Wow!!!
Apparently Swansea are holding out for 50m!
40m bid rejected for Siggy apparently....

Don't see the problem with Swansea charging 50m
That's how much Siggy is worth to them so..

Dunno who's the bigger mugs, Everton for offering or swansea for rejecting

Crazy, not even worth 20m

Lets not get silly. In the current market he is easily worth 20m. He is a 25-30m player. no more though

Seems like total BS to me. They already have Klaassen and Rooney for his position and the midfield is already overloaded. Knowing Koeman he'd rather spunk 40m on a replacement striker first before getting anything else. And no, he's not going to play Rooney up top alone for a whole season.

You do realize this thread is about "Leicester" having a 40m bid rejected... .NOT Everton

The good news is that this just makes Mahrez worth £80m.

Hardly, Mahrez is every bit a one season wonder, Sigurrdsson has been consistently good for a few seasons.

As much as I like Sigurdsson, I don't remember him being voted Player of the Season in any of those good few seasons.

Precisely. The potential of a top-of-his-game Mahrez is higher than of Sigurdsson, and that rightly costs.

Better to be a one season wonder than a permanent runner-up.
