I'll be disappointed to see Armstrong go. He might yet sign a new deal but it's not looking good is it.

If he does stay though , who drops out for Ntcham, the big money signing? I think the reason we got him is that Rodgers believes Armstrong is for the off and this is his replacement.

I disagree

We all said we want better players in and the ones to go would be the bench warmers.

Bitton will go as will Henderson. That makes competition for the midfield which is what we badly needed and also possibly a step up in quality.

If we play a 4-3-3 then we have options from Brown, Armstrong, Ntcham, Rogic, McGregor

If we play 4-2-3-1 then Armstrong, Rogic and McGregor can all play that forward midfield roll.

IMO when you strengthen a team you get in better players and get rid of the bottom of the pile not get rid of the current starters

Even if we went out and bought a CB right now, just how "ready" would he be in only three or four weeks time and be able to adapt to how we play?
