Rewind a few yrs and the three pronged attack of studge, sterling and suarez terrorised the premier league, they destroyed team after team and who can forget the annihilation of Arsenal and Everton....beautiful man, really beautiful!
Well studge was a massive part of that attack and according to the kloppster, this is the first time since klopp has taken over that Studge has had a proper rest (no tournament), had no injuries AND has taken part in a full pre season!
If studge is really back to his best or even near his best then along with the likes of Mane, Salah and Coutinho etc studge could make a huge difference to us. Massive. Studge is world class and he can have the impact Aguero has for City or Costa had for CFC; it could be definitive!
Lets really hope the patience shown by LFC to Studge is worthwhile, what a fantastic addition that would be, a fully fit stuge with a pre season behind him
Is NOW Studge time?

If we can keep the likes of coutinho, Sturridge, firmino, mane and Lallana fit then i personally think we will challenge for trophies this season.

We should do, and if we manage to get Keita and VVD over the line then even moreso.

Fk if we do get VVD and Keita, we will have SOME squad!

It would certainly be the best squad we've had for a long long time.

I'd love Sturridge back to where he was. On ability he's still one of our best. That goal in the uefa final against Seville is a good example, he can do things other players can't.
Like many however, I'm skeptical. The stats last year about the drop off in his pace were really alarming. Think his best is behind him.

Talented player but can you really see him staying fit? Also has lost some pace

Well that's Sturridge injured for the next 4 months.

OK, maybe not the best thread to say this but can't we just forget this Keita thing? I sense it's turning into an obsession, like Rafa's Barry/Alonso mess and we know how that turned out.

I think we need to move from the keita issue. It is turning out like when we tried to buy the Ukrainian player from few seasons back.
Thanks to some of the British clubs, Madrid and PSG prices have gone bonkers.

Another bid rejected for Keita, he isn't going anywhere.
I would rather Oxlade Chamberlain for a third of the price.
