OK so U2 perform a concert at Berlin's Olympic Stadium.
During that concert the pitch gets damaged and Bono, out of the goodness of his heart, bless him pays to have the pitch replaced.
So he should the cυnt, it was during his band's concert that the pitch was damaged.

Bono to the rescue - WTF

How did he decide that U2 should pay for £80k worth of the pitch, when the total was £116k? Did they not go on the penalty areas or something?

how exactly is it the bands fault? did no one organising the event realise heavy equipment on grass would cause damage to that indestructible surface!!!

Not sure why he didn't pay for the whole pitch being replaced but this is Bono, he probably paid just enough to ensure he avoided negative publicity.

Hopefully he can claim it all back as some sort of tax fudge.

I'd have given them nothing. If the dozy priicks didn't realise a gig might just ruin the pitch then it's their problem.

Bono will simply lay his holy hands upon him and he will be healed.
Such is the power of Bono.

Actually.. it's a good thing the pitch will be relaid and the game goes ahead.
Berlin is pretty close to Leipzig, so we can get there, play, sort out a deal with Keita and wait for VVD to slap his transfer request in.
