Yeah they've not been working well together in the pre-season games. Baka and Kante should be solid enough together. Need to sign an upgrade for Alonso though

Quite a few things to take from that match. Unfortunately not many of them are good.

Most worrying things are how poor our midfield looked and the extremely lackluster performance of Alonso. Only bright spark was Musonda in all honesty.

Inter Milan looked the more sharper side, and dominated the first half, second half was more balanced, Chelsea slowly grew into the game and unlucky not to equalise as Bats goal was wrongly ruled out for offside

All the three goals were scored by Inter. Their own goal was a great finish. Their first goal was a poor decision by the ref to award Inter a penalty in the first half, Azpi clearly got the ball. Their 2nd goal was a great finish by Perisic. Then their defender scored a beautiful own goal, from almost 40 yards, looped into the top corner.
