This article gives one person's view of how the football league will end up in 2017/18 and if he is right then Saturday's opening game at Molineux will be between the two clubs that will get automatic promotion to the Premier League next May.

5 stars from me as I see this as a positive article, and helps us get through the close season.
With the excitement in the transfer market this year, and with our signings being of the calibre they are, I would predict outright promotion. First or second - either would do, but I see no reason why we shouldn't end the season as champions once more.

With my pessimistic hat on:
Automatic promotion: Middlesborough, Fulham
Play Off Winners: Sheff Wed
Relegated: Burton, Bolton, Milwall

I hope to be proved wrong but I would be amazed if we went up this season.
If we still had the front 3 of Dicko, Sako and Afobe from when we finished 7th combined with the present day defence/midfield (who are totally unproven) then I would be more optimistic but currently I feel we are still 2 or 3 players away from having the sort of team competing for promotion and that is with everyone fit and in decent form.
Like I said I hope to be proved wrong.

Possibly true Canty but if we had a front three of Costa, Jota and a good new centre forward signing then the forward line could be stronger than Dicko, Afobe and Sako.
If the new signing was Andre Gray then I think it would be stronger. If we rely on Bonatini then time will tell.
