MSN the Best Front Three of all Time ?

As they're about to become broken up, are we seeing the end to the best front three seen in football? Any other trios come close?

Extraordinary amount of output from Messi, Suarez and Neymar in last 3 years. Note not just in goals, but also success for their team. Since they've all been together, 364 goals, 171 assists and 9 trophies in 3 seasons.

MSN the best ever no doubt Real’s front three comes close second.

MSN are not the best front 3 ever. They're great and all that but IMO they have a massive advantage over any front 3 named barr a Madrid one. Their goal totals are way off the chart because they play in a league where they can comfortably thump all but 2 other teams. If they played in a competitive league, that trio's goal totals would be substantially less. Thus making them seem far less impressive.

Can't believe opinions like these still exist!!

In terms of what we remember anyway. I am sure front 3s were in vogue in previous eras as well, but not that we would know.

I meant more so the Rijkaard point. But that's also true what you say.

This thread went from "best front three" to "here are three players who played together" very quickly...

I think MSN are the best front i.e players who lined up in a 4-3-3, 3-4-3 formation, the three R's did win a WC for their country but broke up soon after, they're they only front three who can hold a candle IMO.

Hard to think of any better.

Tevez, Rooney, Ronaldo was great still not quite MSN great.

Superb attack, but definately not in the same league as msn.

It's the greatest attack in history. Call it a front three or simply call it an attacking partnership to involve everyone from any era. Not by just their talents but what they achieved is extraordinary. The season after the treble where double was won (and somehow looked down upon) Neymar got 30, whilst both Suarez and Messi got 50+. That's crazy numbers. No one will match that.

Villa - messi - Pedro.

Not a front three but a front four, Pele Jairzinho Tostao and Rivelino were supposing to be incredible.

Obviously haven't seen enough to know whether they were as good or not but worth throwing out there.
