There is a rule change this season folks. However, first I shall run through the points system just in case anyone has forgotten or we get new players.
- 5 points for predicting the correct score.
- 3 points for predicting the correct result.
- 1 point for predicting but getting neither score nor result correct.
as ever denotes a bonus points game and the icon will be posted at the top of the thread. This game is a bonus point game.
The rule change for this year is that if you fail to predict for a game you lose a point. This rule will kick in after 5 games have passed or put another way, from Game 6 onwards.

The bonus points for this game is to predict the first Brewers goalscorer of the season. It might not be in this game and if so, it carries over to the next game (or the one after that) until it happens. There is 3 points up for grabs with this one.

As always the first game is always difficult - aren't they all - but I am going to go for a good start and a 2.1 Brewers win with Akins to score the first goal.
