Origi's only 22 and has scored 10 goals in both seasons whilst playing second fiddle. Nothing wrong with him as back up

But voted in the worst XI team in French league 1. He's been given enough opportunities but not progressing and has been poor for a year now. Missed a sitter in the 1st minutes in today's game and was a passenger.

Not really sure what an online poll from when he was 18 at a different club has to do with anything.

We know he has the ability, we all saw it in 15/16 when he scored something like 6 goals in 8 games before his injury against Everton. 22 years old is far too young to just cast aside and sell.

Preseason has been good.

I'm not convinced by Origi tbh. I'm not advocating selling him, but I have major doubts about his ability and consistency.

Ability is there, consistency and maturity lacking.. both will come in time.

This, but at the same time has he had a sustained run in the team? didnt he also go on a 6/7 game goalscoring streak last season mainly from the bench?

He can be frustrating but no need to call quits on him already at 22 ffs. I'd rather loan him but i think Klopp will keep him around the squad.

Yes, he got a good run of games toward the end of last season after Mane got injured and he looked losses in a lot of those games and it actually resulted in Sturridge being brought back in for the final few games.

Whilst he's got the power and ability to run wide, I just don't think he's clinical enough to be a striker for a top side.
