Transfers

Opinion from Liverpool fans.If the news reports and betting odds are to go by then looks as if Coutinho is off to Barcelona.Varying reports of between £90 million and £120 million. So if this is true who do we find as a replacement?
He gives us a different dimension when on the offensive to other players in the squad.I would have picked Gotze but he is just coming back from illness.Any other realistic options?
I get the keita thing that Leipzig don't want to sell which is the stance we should take with Coutinho but we shall see.As regards central defence Sakho is not in the picture anymore and waiting to be sold so we have Matip,Lovren,Klavan and Gomez is this good enough?
We still need a top class central defender in my opinion which is why we should still pursue VVD possibly using Sakho in part exchange? I can see us again in the new year with some injuries that will stall our top four/cup progress.
With Lallana being injured for a few months this again has depleted our creativity in midfield.

You can't buy anymore players due to tax, agents fees, wages, FFP, squad size restrictions, home grown quotas, and the fact that payments would not be received ‘lump sum.’ (as explained by a Liverpool fan)

Ah, thanks for that. I apologise for this grave error. Arsenal fans camping on the Liverpool board. I wasn't expecting that after winning the mighty shield.

We won't be selling Coutinho so it's irrelevant.

OP, do some research. The new 'reports' can ALL eventually be traced back this article http://bit.ly/2wlrZzJ as their source.

Notice a lack of links to sources reliable or otherwise. This is what's wrong with football 'fans' and 'reporters' during the transfer window. They are all willing to take an article on face value and report accordingly. Laziest journalists around.

You will if he wants to go and Barca offer a tidy 9 figure sum. Your owners are business men.

Couts isn't for sale, Klopp said so.

Klopp is a funny guy, why would he lie.

Coutinho out, Chamberlain, Lanzini and VVD in and I'll be happy enough with that.

Won't happen though...

Forget VVD. Klopp stated that he isn't interested anymore and is happy with the 4 cb's he has.
