As the previous articles have been sledging off the two people not responsible for our defeat.
What about Morgan for the first goal the bloke did not even had to jump and the last goal poor marking and you hear it coming Kasper watching it go over his head.
Will it be Huff and Maquire who has already shown his skill in the air will we go three at the back.
Early days yet two concerns Shakeys sub's and injuries last season blamed on CR and this season we have more ? Oh did miserable Ken get his job back now Shakey is in charge.
We have got the squad we now need to figure out how to play them.
Big shout out to our very own sicknote James hoping that he stays fit that's some comeback son.
Given the midfield mess at Chelsea do you think DD will be going there?
Poor Defending

Spot on KTF1.
Although I do think Ndidi and James (assuming DD leaves) can do a better job of protecting the back 4. We'll have to assume Mahrez (or Gray) won't provide any!
We need to work out how to balance the two without leaving Vardy isolated. But ultimately, I agree that this approach should be too much for many teams that don't have the attacking threat that Arsenal do.

Morgan seemed to direct words towards Simpson after Lacazette scored. Maybe he wanted a shout but didn't get it.
To be fair to Simmo, there was no need as Wes was facing the play. Wes wasn't as alert as Lacazette.
DD could well go Nev, but shouldn't for any less than £35 mill. He might like the idea of playing alongside of Kante again, especially as Chelsea were in turmoil yesterday. However, i couldn't see him holding down a regular place in that team.
Disappointing to score 3 away at the Emirates and be on the losing side.
Encouraging to pick Arsenal off though with ease.
I could see Shakeys thinking into bringing Iheanacho on for this very reason. But he replaced the wrong player instead of like for like.
If we can do Brighton next up with relative ease, then it will be very encouraging all round. Early days though.........let's not pre-judge too much, too soon.

Has anyone got any quotes at all about Drinkwater, or could all this just be the London media panicking about Chelsea and finding someone to fit their requirements?
Even if it is real, I can't imagine us allowing the transfer through easily, not at this late stage with no chance to spend the money.
As for the defence, I thought Morgan was somewhat suspect as well. Maguire looks like he has some great potential, but did get muscled out by Giroud and went wandering around too much for my liking. It'll be interesting to see him next to Huth in a few games and I reckon he could learn a lot from the German wall.

Dunge - my concern with Maguire is that he seems to pull the back line around a lot. Great and composed, but needs to settle in to his role in our back 4. He needs to learn when to step out and when to hold the line.
Hopefully it needs time.

Agreed. He's trying to be in too many places at once.

He's going to be good good feet and some great heading which we have been missing

Fear that Shakespeare is too close to some of the players.
I would like to see Morgan dropped for a few games,he can now sadly only get worse at his age, but can still be a great influence on team.
Schmeichel made captain, his passionand influence are obvious.
Mahrez also dropped ,and Gray told to prove he is as good as he thinks he is,play him for a couple of ames from start,if not working bring Mahrez on for fast 30/40 mins.
Seems quite obvious to me, but is CS brave enugh.

thorney - That last bit to me is what stands out above everything else about Shakespeare: Is he brave enough?
I think it's a complicated question, because we can't ask him to be something that he isn't. If he tries to be bold, there's a fair chance it'll come out as foolhardy. If he tries to be ruthless it'll come out as heartless. He'd lose the gentle respect that underpins his authority.
The only way I can see Shakespeare working out is if he doesn't do too many things that might be considered overly brave. Which is why the James/Iheanacho substitution bugs me.

Dunge, I totally disagree that the Iheanacho sub was 'overly' brave.
It was sensible to bring on Amartey to try and shore things up as the game was wide open and we were winning.
The problem was that it just invited Arsenal on to us and we ended up camped in our own half with wave upon wave of Arsenal attack. That goal was coming. Both goals were clearly coming, so Shakey did something about it. He tried to relieve the pressure by going back to plan A. Give Arsenal more to think about and push them back.
It didn't change it quick enough and the inevitable goals came.
I understand both subs. I think both were sensible (although I think the Amartey one was the actual mistake in hindsight), and I don't think either were bold.
Shakespeare has impressed me so far. He's willing to make hard but sensible decisions. All you can ask really. He's certainly not afraid to annoy players by leaving them out.

To me, Craig Shakespeare seems like he won't mess about with any of the players.
He answers his media questions straight, forthright, no bullsh!t. I like the man.
He's on a learning curve, granted, but he's sensible and knows the players limits inside out.
Yes, he's going to upset some big names along the way. My concern is that any big name player who get's isolated, doesn't become "The Bad Apple" in the camp - otherwise, get rid sharpish.
Leicester City FC has a unique player bond that doesn't need disrupting. Let's keep it unique.
Every single manager in the league will upset 2 or 3 players within his squad. You can't keep 25 blokes 100% happy all the time. Those that are not happy need to channel their frustration into their training and eventual game time, not sulk or rock the boat.
I'm not a massive fan of Andy King. He is steady - no more no less. But he epitomizes the consummate professional in biding his time until he get's a game.
