In this situation Coutinho really has no power at all. Whatever the outcome, he needs to play to the best of his abilities this season as it is a World Cup year. So sulking is not an option.

Whats unbelievable? That a player wanting to move to a bigger club, in a better climate, in a better city, more money and a better chance of trophies had the audacity to hand in a transfer request?

Of course its up to liverpool if they sell him or not.. its just a tough situation , saying no to a good offer for a player who will inevitably be unhappy for the rest of the season.
