1 Game gone...and everything is clear.

its all cut and dried, just like last season when City went on to win the league and Conte was sacked after losing to Liverpool and Arsenal, you know that early season form that is such a nailed on indicator as to whats going to happen.

I don't know who's more stupid, Utd fans that have suddenly found their cocky voices after beating a W Ham side AT OT when the hammers were 5 first team players short, OR those mocking Klopp for a disastrous DRAW away at Watford, that gap is a massive 2 points. Yes, we can all see after 1 game the likely outcome

Gotta laugh at the deluded pool fans

Klopp is a fraud of a manager. Third season in charge at Liverpool now and they've got the same frailties and deficiencies as they had the day he walked in the door. There's an argument to be made Rodgers' Liverpool were more pleasing on the eye going forward, too.

Hugely disappointing for a Liverpool fan, it must be.

You lead Klopp alone, he's one of the "new breed" of managers so I keep hearing, him, poch and conte apparently, modern managers with radical ideas unlike dinosaurs like the "special once"

Getting excited after 1 win is nothing new. I'd be excited if I were a Utd fan, it was a good performance.

But let's be honest here GB, it's not 1 game with us is it? That game could have been last year. It could have been the year before. Bournemouth, Sunderland, Hull - we've seen it all before.

I remember the days when you referred to the prospect of jose being manu's manager as "that little sh**"

Fun times.

We're only holding off the livery for the open top bus because it'd be a shame not to have the new signings on it.

Always get your livery in early:

Klopp invented 'the press' whereby players try and tackle the opposition.

You need to win the league quick before other teams latch on to this and start tackling.

I thought Rodgers invented the press, maybe Wenger....or was it SAF?

To any genuine United fans, I didn't actually see the game, but saw the result. A genuine non-wum question; how did Pogba play?

I only ask that, for the reason that are beyond me, he's featured heavily on this site over the past few weeks, many posts being unfavourable.

Please, only from genuine United fans, how did he play?

Utd won all their games last August and had a five point gap on us. By September they were behind us and it stayed that way until the end of the season.

Just like people wrote Arsenal off for top four after losing to us. Fair enough, they ended 5th, but by a single point. Don't read too much in to the first result.

However, the way we played suggests we are going to have the same issues as last season. Hopefully we have enough about us going forward, and enough width, to break those stubborn teams down at Anfield.

Pogba had an excellent game, completely dominating the midfield area with Matic.

Won a host of challenges on the floor and in the air, kept the ball very well, created plenty of chances (although if his final ball had been better on a couple of occasions, he might've had at least a couple of assists), entertained with a few nice flicks and displays of strength, and completed our scoring with a beautifully taken goal.

Would have been MOTM if Matic hadn't been in Beast Mode.

no Utd fan is getting overexcited over 1 game

just banter which is intensifying because it's winding up opposition fans (especially small time chelsea fans)
