So you sell your best players to Watford and Huddersfield and buy Leicester's cast-offs!

What is happening??

He seemed to be a real in-between player here at Leicester. Obviously excelled last year for Ipswich, but hasn't stood out enough in training for either Ranieri or Shakespeare to be sufficiently interested. Although it's quite possible that he wanted first team football and Shakespeare couldn't guarantee it, so we decided to cash in now before his contract ran out next summer an he left on a free.

Given that situation, £7m sounds a little steep; I can only think that you had competition as we've had reports of several clubs sniffing around him. In fact I seem to recall clubs like Newcastle were reported to have an interest.

We haven't seen him play much for us, so chances are you'll be just as aware of him as we are with his performances for Ipswich last year. All that considered, I think there's a fair chance that he'll end up being worth the money for you. He's young, eager to play and prove himself, and of course knows where the goal is. Good luck to him.

Schtevie 'no longer being considered' for the Hearts job, despite publicly throwing his hat into the ring.

Thanks DM; it'd be nice to have a player increase in value during his time here; there's only been Ince in living memory.

..and of course Seth Johnson

Incidentally, I'd be very surprised if you got Matty James in this transfer window. (Although I figure you got Tom Huddlestone instead so won't be as interested now anyway.) There's unconfirmed talk of Drinkwater going to Chelsea (probably rubbish IMO but you never know) and I can't see how our new midfielder Iborra is going to cope in a 4-4-2, which James can. He's already in and around our matchday squad, so I think it's very unlikely that we'll sell him to anyone any time soon.
