I notice after 3 games, these boards are full of doom mongers saying: we can't score, 5 points aren't good enough, tactics are wrong, manager's picked the wrong team. In a lot of cases, I agree with them and I start to get a little depressed and a bit concerned. Then we have the reaction posts to these: We're unbeaten, Fulham are a good side so 1pt is a decent result, trust in the manager, certain young players are showing a lot of promise. Suddenly I cheer up and realise that with the season barely started, we've got a whole year of ups (and a few downs) ahead of us. Ok, I hold my hands up, I can be a bit of a moaner when things aren't going right, so I say thank God for all you 'glass half full' types out there - you're the ones who help us keep a sense of perspective. Keep doing what you're doing - we pessimists may not always appreciate you but we need you!

How is drawing with Fulham at home a good point.
Why are we happy with playoffs?
The people on here who have shown "concern" for their club want more. They expect automatic promotion. No point turning up and competing.
This club should be top 2. Anything less in failure (unless a playoff final win)

This club should be top half at least of the prem but we haven't deserved it for years.

I am not talking stature of the club.
I am talking about a club that ended last season in 7th place with the base to progress to becoming a top 2 automatic promotion side this season. Thats were we were when ended last season.
New owner, new funds. How we used those funds was critical in terms of determining whether we push on.Time will tell on whether the scattergun transfer approach will work.

People shouting off about what should and shouldn't, we shouldn't forget the Championship is supposed to be the hardest league in the world to get out off!..
Why is that one could wonder?..
There are other teams in this league that are going to give the same as Fulham!..
You could say we have started from scratch, a new owner, club being ripped a new one and at the same time a troop of players trying to get it together!..
I think these players will manage, it may take a bit of time but once they get sorted they'll enjoy giving what we're screaming for!..
Everybody wants Premiership football, AR will be happy with top six but he knows deep down that's only while building is in progress!..
I think top six will be our goal this season, auto will be great, top six with no promotion will mean that we're one step further!..
Support the players and let them do the job they're there to do!..

Agree Kebab, all on I hear on the radio is wolves this, Portugal that. For me, we're 4 points off them and top 2. Not in the business of falling behind early. Looking forward to Sunderland game now though.

Looking to forward to seeing him. Apparently him and Pablo were on the same wave length last night. We gotta get him on the ball as much as possible.

Fulham were a play-off team last year, and have kept their brightest stars and built on their squad. They are a good team. A point against them isn't a poor result, certainly not when we are a team yet to properly settle.
Our first four games is a difficult start. If we could come out of them with 8 points then I would be very happy.

I lose all hope when I see our manager committed to playing Hernandez for the full 90 minutes. Or his insistence on playing youngsters who are just not good enough. Phillips made a couple of decent tackles but for most of the game he was invisible. Fair enough give the youth a chance but do not depend on them for an entire game.
