Couts on strike...

http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/philippe-coutinho-tells-jurgen-klopp-10995830

Papers reporting that Philly is refusing to play for Kloppo.

Is this the right way to force through a move?

I just want him gone from the club now for a good price

And this ^^^ is exactly why the Spanish media release this type of garbage article. It gets to the fans who then make it known that they no longer want the player around. .

It doesn't matter if the player / his family / his agent or anybody else associated with him said or did anything or not. This is purely Barca's media arm (also known as the Spanish press) spreading misinformation so the fans will get on the player's back.

I understand but when someone says they dont love you,you move on

CFC another Coutinho post? Your obsession might just consume you now if you're not careful. If you want to support Liverpool just say so you spend more time thinking about us then your own club apparently.

People saying oh just sell him are well within their right to think that. However just because he hands in a transfer request doesn't mean we sell him for a low fee. Barca have offered no way near what we should be getting for in this crazy market of fees. Minimum 120 million in my view. That's factoring in with the late inconvenience of letting him go and probably not finding a replacement and the fact that they have 200 million burning in their wallets as well. We can't look like we sell cheaply now! So we will sell but it has to be on our terms! (It's why I don't think he will leave ATM).

Dodgy source... is striking Phil's style? Seems like a decent lad...

I wouldn't have thought that after being overlooked for the national side for so long, after finally breaking in and becoming a genuine starter that he'd be prepared to throw that all away in world cup year.
That said, I didn't think he'd try and push through the move as he has done, so who knows.

I don't think, in fact I'm certain he isn't the one trying and pushing. That's Barca bosses trying to dig themselves out of the shiiiiit by having to allow Neymar to leave.

I think LFC should now just out of principle not sell him. If he doesn't want to play then that's up to him. If we sell we definitely loose him. If we keep him he either changes his mind and plays or trains with the res.

Player power needs to be curbed. He sign a bumper deal last year and didn't put in a release clause. His bad.
