What's up with the Chelsea fans on here?

There's never been this level of vitriol towards United on these boards till recently.

Since Lukaku signed for us, they've been making daily wums about us. They need to worry about themselves more than us.

-Their manager wants out
-They have lost their last three competitive games (Arsenal, Arsenal, Burnley)
-Half their team is injured or suspended
-Their best striker is on strike
-4 players sent off in their last three games
-Willian would like to follow Matic to the biggest club in England
-City have over taken them in the small club with lots of money game
-Hazard will be joining Real in the next year or so
-Gonna get tonked by Spurs at the weekend

Lukaku choosing us over them should be the last of their worries.

It's probably a compliment though that you punch above your weight compared to the size of your club, aided only with a few gazillions of dodgy Russian mafia oil money to get you going. Good work
----------------------------------------------------------------------
In January 1902, with debts of £2,670 equivalent to £260,000 in 2017[nb 1] the club was served with a winding-up order.[16] Captain Harry Stafford found four local businessmen, including John Henry Davies (who became club president), each willing to invest £500 in return for a direct interest in running the club and who subsequently changed the name;[17]

wonder what the real clubs of the time thought about these moneybags clubs ruining the game!

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ouch!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We'll need a bit more of the story here.

So four local businessmen saved the original club from going out of business and changed the name....

I'm not getting your point
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Looks like your not the only club that get's saved by sugar daddy's.

Difference is we got "saved" from 4th to 7th level (position's you are now familiar with) while United got saved from extinction

We shift more shirts than utd
Every little helps!

Like I said, it's a testament to some good work that a middling club with a teeny ground with no atmosphere and very little history of note can go on to become a middling European name and lift the CL.

You're kind of like the Porto of England, only with a shiiiter ground and more nouveau supporters.

It's a compliment ffs, stop biting my head off!

The Premier league trophy is safely ensconced in our tiny trophy cabinet within our tiny, cr@p stadium
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I know!

Like I said it's a compliment. Same as Leicester, it's good to see

When fans start banging on about how "big" they are and how "small" others are, it's usually a sign the football side of thing's isn't brilliant.

It's basically "we use to be good" in morsecode.

I wonder if he still considers the Europa the worst competition ever as he did last season!

Sure do, until the knockouts.

Just like the CL group stages, it's a nonsense until the proper cup competition kicks in.

======
Wow.

To be fair the Europa is more important now that the prize for winning it is CL qualification

But, and I'm sticking to my guns here, it's a rubbish competition.

It's great once you get to the knockouts and lovely to win but the group stages are an absolute waste of time.
