WOOD GONE?

I'm not justifying it just telling you my opinion on how it works. Unless we get promoted there's always a chance of losing players to a better league and even then you lose players, e.g. Walker from Spurs to City.

Unless you're PSG, Real etc there's always somebody with more money and even then the Chinese could probably offer more again!

I don't think people are trying to excuse the club, I think its people coming to terms with the fact that Leeds United cant do much when a premiership club comes knocking!..

Wood hasn't been his best the first few games, so, is that because off the new players we have?..

Or has he other things on his mind?..

The club could say he stays and see's out his contract, problem is forcing him to stay would you get the best out of him?..

If wages that have been mentioned are true, he'd be a fool getting out of bed to stay here!..

It's about what we do next.

Look at Everton. They lost Lukaku. Did they cry about it? No. They reinvested and built a solid team that will still compete.

video shows he's still with the team, talking with teammates. Still think a lot of it is bull$hit from Burnley end. Leeds adamant he wouldn't be sold 24 hours ago. then sell him now12 hours later? bollox

Here's hoping it is all bull crap!.

One thing that is crystal clear is we need to get promoted pronto - every time a player hits a bit of form he's gone - Pontus, Ayling next at this rate?

Completely agree.

Said in summer it would be a bonus if we had both Pontus and Wood this season.

We had a great season from Wood last season not sure we'd get same again but if I was club and I didn't need the money I would tell Wood he is staying and cement my relationship with fans.

Wood did well last year.. this year was the real test for him to see if he could follow it up.. fair play going to premiership, but reckon he's not ready just yet

The game against Sunderland will be doubly hard now that Wood is out of the team. I must admit I'm sick as a pig at the moment - we always take one step forward and two steps back at this Club. Let's hope Ekuban has his scoring boots on today, and several others in the team as well.

No it will not be dobely hard because Wood has gone
