About not signing Lukaku? When it looked like we were signing him every Chelsea fan on this forum were somewhat underwhelmed and and there was a sense of Meh and that we could do so much better, £90m and 2 goals against West Ham later and have any of our opinions changed? Very doubtful.
He's always scored goals but his open net Torres-esque miss in the super cup just reinforces our argument that he goes missing in big matches whether its missing in big moments or missing pens in finals/semifinals (im positive he missed a penalty against Utd at Wembley) he does under perform.
Yes Utd fans you have a very good player but is he really Utd standard? I thought you'd be after the Suarez, Lewandowski, Alexis, Aguero, Higuain level of striker.
Also... We know Utd is a bigger club but let's not forget Chelsea beat you lot to the signings of Robben, Pedro and Mikel to name a few.
I think Lukaku will be a decent signing but I really doubt he'll bridge the gap between Utd and the title.

They've got very overactive wild imaginations. One turned up on my article telling me that I'd done what he predicted and written about Lukaku when I didn't mention him once. I think the the reality is setting in with them about how limited Lukaku is.

Fair question. They seem determined for us to be upset about it. God knows why because honesty we both turned out winners as I see it. Lukaku suits United better & Morata suits us better
