Serious. Over confident

Confidence is a good thing, they don't need to be brought down to earth. The more confident they the more they will express themselves and play with swagger. The problem with confidence is if lazy mess sinks in and players stop putting in the efforts but we are not in danger of that for two reasons. 1)we have a big squad with lots of competition and hard working players so no one can rest on their lorals 2)the manger. Jose is not the type to let his players become lazy and the first sign that they he will change it up.

How have arsenal, liverpool and chelsea got on against so called poor teams already this season?

When are people gonna realise this isnt 1995 anymore, their arent easy games anymore in the pl with all the money flying around.

Easy teams dunc. Great victories, but it doesn't get much easier than those teams.

Dunc seems to be the burning man of the straw man.

I think every United fan (bar maybe Stretty) is happy we are winning and winning well.

Does it mean an analysis of our team's performances - of which include the good and not-so-good shouldn't be brought up?

They've also been difficult opponents for us for years.

It's not so much the wins it's the small signs that things might be different this season, the speed in which we transition with Lukaku, Rashford, Martial and Pogba, sometimes Valencia too, we're taking chances (so far) which was an issue last season.

Yes it's only two games, I tend to judge after about 10-12 games personally but I've enjoyed back-to-back United games for the first time in a while.

Sterner tests to come, of course, but the very early signs are pretty good imo.

Several things. We have not been perfect (how many performances are?). But there are certainly reasons to be excited.

Areas of major weakness we needed to improve on last season such as speed of our counter attacks and finishing we have look to have addressed.

Lukaku, Pogba, Martial, Mhki and Matic have all hit the ground running.

We are putting these so called weaker teams to the sword, the calibre of team which caused us issues last season.

The players will take massive amounts of self belief from the results, something that was clearly lacking last season. A footballer just sees professionals in front of him, and if he has had 2 goals and 2 assists to start the season he's gonna be feeling good.

Lastly, we watch the game to be entertained, I have been, we've scored some lovely goals. We have been starved of that for a few years just enjoy it. It won't make a difference to how the team actually do.
