So, just for Spart, here is the table after 4 games. Its like pandering to a red dog who has won a few games, we will let him have his moment of glory, however fleeting it may be.
Just for the record, Spart and Vidal both predicted all 4 outcomes right, but Vidal only got one spot on to Sparts 3.
GTKarl made 2 predictions and got 4 points for each, so his batting average is best - if only he could be ar5ed to predict every game
Ang is making a decent start to his title defence
Spart 11
Baz 8
GTKarl 8

Prediction League Table

Predictions
So to maintain the integrity of yesterday's predictions, which all of us except 2 got wrong, these are the rules going forward.
3 points for correct scoreline _ eg 3-1 etc
1 point for correct outcome but incorrect score - ie W,L,D
1 point per goal for correct scorers (max 3 predicted scorers each game)
And with credit to Marco
2 bonus points for 1st scorer on either side

2 points for first scorer???
who knew

Is the predictor allowed to hedge their bets? for example predict a 1-0 Rams win, but predict a first scorer from the Oppo... or must the whole of the prediction maintain a logical consistency?

Is the "1 point per goal for correct scorers" just from the Rams players?
So if I've understood correctly... under ideal circumstances the highest score obtainable from an individual prediction is eight?

666 - I will check your scores (as its you!)
The rules are in fact as follows:-
Normal League games and all cup games
Correct score (e.g. 3-1, 1-2 etc) = 3 points
Correct outcome but wrong score (W/L/D) = 1 point
1pt per goal scorer, max 3 predictions only = max 3 points
(The 2-point bonus for 1st goalscorer has gone)
Bonus round league games
For the home and away games v Forest, Leeds and Burton it will be
Correct score (e.g. 3-1, 1-2 etc) = 6 points
Correct outcome but wrong score (W/L/D) = 1 point
2pt per goal scorer, max 3 predictions only = max 6 points
The end of season “where will we finish" bonus
Predict where we finish the season, get it right and earn 20 bonus points. For every place you are out, you lose 2 points. So, predict 10th, finish 6th = 12 points i.e. 20 – (4x2).

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Rams scorers only, max 3 goals per game (and the 1st 3 goals at that).
No 2 point bonus so max per game is 6
BECAUSE I STILL BELIEVE IN 6 POINT GAMES !

I believed in "one point for a correct prediction with wrong score" once upon a time too.

I see we're disregarding the accepted convention of numerals before alpha characters by placing Dixie ahead of 666 in the table despite that flying in the face of every civilised language order.
It's an outrage is what it is.
