Andreas Christensen was superb yesterday, hardly put a foot wrong for the whole 90mins.
Judging by his performance yesterday, I think it's safe to say he'll be vying for a starting berth for the CB spot with Cahill and Rudiger in the not-so-distant future.
The question is...can he actually displace Cahill?
And if he does, it means there won't be any English player in the Chelsea starting XI
A cause for worry?
Thoughts...
Andreas Christensen to displace Cahill?

Cahill is overrated. Being the best English centre half is not a great feat these days. Both Rudiger and Cristensen are better.

Have not seen enough of rudiger, been crap so far.

Saw enough of him last year at Roma and Stuttgart before. Fast, strong and likes a tackle. He will be fine.

Conte will have a sekection headache that's for sure. Conte wanted to buy Rudiger a couple of seasons ago, but for a nasty injury ended our interest in Rudiger.

Doesn't look much different to zouma for me except not as strong. Kane is fantastic but not the most skillfull of players and he turned him inside out a few times.
Still early doors, signings like Alonso, luiz and a few others show that players need patience before we see what we're really dealing with

Cahill for now and Christensen to become a regular in a few seasons but Cahill's goal scoring ability is great.

With more game time you'll discover he's far better technically. He's the player Pep wishes Stones was, has the passing skill of a midfielder.

Hope your right, like I said not judging yet, people use to get half a season at least before being judge, but nowadays it's 15 minutes before social media etc go crazy.
Expect a lot more to come from all our new signings.

I'm not sold on the idea he's the ready made Terry replacement yet either, but he definitely could be. The evidence of the player he could become is there from his time in Germany, it's just a question of whether he can grow into that potential. But there's reason to be optimistic with this kid, unlike a lot of our youth.

Kind of hope we give him 5 games right now. Only way we will know.
