2 games into the season and were sitting on top with a GD of 8 goals on paper were looking really good compared to last season, but are we realistically ready for a premiership challenge..?
I feel against West Ham we played some sublime football and deserved the score line whilst against Swansea we played well in patches but the scoreline did flatter us a little..
Jose has done a fantastic job in the last 12 months and has seem to given us the right balance especially with Matic freeing up Pogba!
so with just over a week to go which position would you like to see us fill and who would be the ideal signing.. I feel we need a left back who can run with the ball and whip in many crosses but i cant see Jose signing anyone right now..
next week will be a good test against Leicester and hopefully another 3 points!!

Pogba is better than just being an AMF though, imho
...........
He may be, I will hold off on that for now though. I think he is better suited from an attacking view point than a defending one.
I would rather he was a bit more further forward to stop teams easily playing it out from the back, like he did for one of the goals on Saturday.
There was a spell where I thought Swansea were given to much time in the second half to pass it out of defence.

I was actually thinking about how Mahrez could fit into this team but concluded that he's gonna eventually create the same problems that Mata would on the right. Mahrez is essentially a more athletic Mata minus the footballing brains (to some degree).
I'd say we try Rashford out on the right. We know he can cross and he can wear out defenders with his pace. Why not use that on one side and Martial on the other?

For me, Pogba has been freed up only when Fallaini comes on for one of the 3 behind Lukaku. That's when he has got further forward and scored/ assisted.

Imo Jose shouldn't start with both Mik and Mata. Start with Matic, Herrera and Pogs and one of Mik or Mata, with Rashers or Martial the other one with Lukaku.
So it looks like this.
Martial/ Rashers Lukaku Mik / Mata
...........Pogs.............Herrera..............
.......................Matic........................

Agree with you. Makes no sense to me to play both Mikh and Mata.
I would play one or the other.
