In my opinion we’ve been unlucky at Wembley in the main. If you take our last 6 games there, last season and this, you’ll see that we have had 32 shots on target, scored 9, not that great but not disastrous.
We have only conceded 15 shots on target, which is actually pretty damn good. However, 12 of those shots went in!!!
For whatever reason, the opposition have scored pretty much every shot on target. Not saying it’s Lloris fault or anything, but that’s the fact. We’ve dominated all 6 games and ended up only winning one (I’m only counting competitive games here)
We aren’t playing badly at Wembley, apart from the Leverkusen game but even that we had plenty of shots but no clinical edge
Our luck will turn, hopefully starting this Sunday. Fail to win that and the alarm bells will start ringing
Unlucky at Wembley

Sandy, Wumberly is "home" now.
This is the year we're supposed to win the league!
So we're going to have to beat teams like Chelsea and ManU at home.
Given yesterday's performance, we never going to beat ManU anywhere.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Er Ted, didn`t Spurs beat Man United the last time they two teams met.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
At Wumberly was it?
And didn't we have Walker and Rose on the pitch?

Ah well, playing at WHL with Walker is a bit different.
And ManU this year are looking a lot better than last year.

Spurs will be challenging again based on yesterday's game. Chelsea were outstanding defensively but Spurs looked strong and were always asking questions.
They will be a match for anyone and are capable of giving any club here a hiding including United.
Small margins yesterday and a couple of players not at their best but still a top English club, that defeat while disappointing shows how tough this league is and I think Spurs are certain top 4 with a couple of signings.

Oh because they have beaten a shambolic West Ham and Swansea. I see where your coming from.

Well, they've kept all their good players, and ..... they've picked up Lukaku.
Were we not trying to get Martial from them?

United started with 3 wins last season too. Then again, Mourinho always win the title in the second year, that sequence needs to end sometime

The record at Wembley in its current form is over a 9 year period. I'm pretty sure our players aren't dwelling over defeat to Portsmouth in 2010 just as they aren't celebrating our win vs Chelsea in 2008. Players wouldn't have some sort of mental block over things that took place before they even played for a club.
Of the recent games we've played there that a decent number of our squad would have been involved with, 3 of them were against Chelsea. Monaco were a bit of an unknown quantity and nobody expected them to do as well as they did in the CL. The shockers have been Leverkusen and Genk.

If you take the 2 chelsea games then they have scored 2 amazing freekicks, Hazards superb finish through about 3 sets of legs in to the bottom corner and then Matic's thunderbolt. So 4 of 6 goals being simply incredible finishing...with the other 2 being punished for bad mistakes (Lloris & Sons penalty).
In both games CFC had only had one more shot on target than the amount of goals they scored. Take nothing away from them, clinical finishing cannot be criticised but from our point of view its unlucky to come up against such form. When you compare to the FA Cup final, CFC played nothing like the quality they did vs Spurs or showed anything like the same level of finishing.
We did not deserve to lose either game but we did, and on both occasions a bit unlucky to come up against opposition who took an unbelievably high number of the few chances they created.
