I heard a rumour that Van Dijk was waiting on whether we get through in the CL. Add that to the fact that Southampton have signed a defender and promised him regular first team football, it could have some truth in it.

Well that's a load of horseshiiit because all the rumours that you have been regurgitating throughout the summer have been that he already decided he wants to move to Liverpool so why would he now wait to see whether or not Liverpool qualify for the CL or not?

The reality is that Liverpool have publicly withdrawn their interest and will only go back in for VVD if Southampton invite them to, which they most likely won't.

I know it's hard to believe there isn't really one rule for Liverpool and one for the rest but yea sorry, there isn't

VVD seems more determined to leave, he publicly slated the club and their relationship looks beyond repair. I believe Coutinho will come round and play another blinder of a season.

Possibly, he appears to have a little more about him than VVD. The question would be, if he would do that to his current club, what would prevent him doing the same things engineer a move from Liverpool as he takes possibly another step up?
