What a game!
The lads were on it straight away and blew them apart with the third being liquid football. I thought they then got caught up in the emotion a bit after that and over played. Bit arrogant even and Hoffenheim are a good side going forwards. It was good tactic from their seemingly pr!ck of a manger to change the shape and then again put another big lad up top. Both resulted in goals.
A word for a few of the players. TAA played well. Very well in fact. Passing was a bit loose at times, maybe he was injured, but he could be a huge bonus. Big Emre with his first brace! Gotta keep this lad as he's got real quality. Good to see Hendo smash one of their filth players and then unselfishly set up Firmino (who was technically brilliant tonight) against his old club. Captain material.
This weak squad could go four clear of Arsenal after three games this week and Arsenal haven't even had European football to contend with. I would fvcking love it if we did and that has to be considered a good start to the season.
Could do with a couple of players and Coutinho and Lallana coming back but we'll be competitive either way and great to watch. Let's see if they can win something!

Not necessarily.
Leicester City conceded 37 goals more than Spurs last season, got to the quarter finals, while Spurs didnt make any impact whatsoever in the competition.

Forgive me if I'm wrong but they way football works is if you score more than the other side the you win, thats the way it works?
Maybe if spurs did that in Europe they'd have progressed a bit further!

We had a worse defence in 2016 and we got to the Europa League final, playing Champions League level teams along the way.
