I am working on the cumulative scores and I has taken me much more time than I expected, but I'll put them out soon.
So on to Wimbledon which I had hoped to attend, but when I discovered that they did not play at Wimbledon, but in Kingston on Thames which is a challenging trip both by car and public transport and then a weekend break was mooted I’m afraid I opted for the latter.
It seems that these Dons are on a rather unproductive run carried over from the closing games of last season and are looking for their first win in serious competition since March, but they had rather a slow start last season. If you were a neutral you might be inclined to forecast a win for us. However, their matches this season have all been difficult – away at Scunthorpe (draw) and Fleetwood (loss) and a narrow home loss to in-form Shrewsbury. So on second thoughts, you would probably not be so bold and conclude that a draw would be satisfactory, but by no means a banker. They have signed the enigmatic and undoubtedly skilful Forester whose talent clubs have found it difficult to harness; what we will have to watch is his long-range shooting ability.
DF will have to decide whether he will start May or Mandeville alongside Marquis assuming he can’t fit all 3 in which might be possible by perhaps saving Copps as a substitute, a bit of rotating. I will opt for a 2-2 draw with Marquis there for the first and 4250 in attendance

Stanton,
Certainly glad we are not in Texas - this summer Oregon has been unusually hot and dry. We've had the occasional tornado (three in my 28 years here!), but no hurricanes.
I'm not sure where the BBC get their stats - the Rovers site says 68% which still seems a little high to me, but we did have most of the first half. Also the BBC show only one Yellow for the Rovers whereas we picked up three.

Was very poor today gents from front to back and visa versa. No one stood out in a poor game and the stats are baffling 70 odd percent as Wimbledon certainly had a bit of the ball time wasting after going 2-0 up. We never looked like scoring and my thoughts are that the players minds maybe on a certain cup tie and not the current moment, just a thought.

The extended highlights reveal not just a Rovers off-day, but a team who could not cope with opposition who played in a highly energetic style. Rovers seemed intimidated and frightened to hold the ball and finished up playing in what looked like for them, an almost alien game, a pale imitation of what Wimbledon did well. The defence seemed to have no answer to the attackers who just charged at them and forced them off the ball. It was almost like the men against the boys.
Goal 2 was a longer range effort similar to Blackpool’s second with two opportunities to tackle and neither taken.
I have remarked before about how successful this kind of high-pressure style works in League 1 (witness Sheff U and Scunthorpe). What I had not realised was that we can’t cope with it!!
