'DON'T JOIN BARCA, PHILIPPE'

Nice one Neymar.

Neymar has reportedly told Brazil team-mate Philippe Coutinho not to sign for Barcelona, according to a report in Brazil.

Neymar joined PSG earlier this month in a world-record deal from Barcelona and is now being sued for breach of contract by the Spanish club for pushing through his transfer.

And Brazilian newspaer Estadao has claimed: “Neymar told Coutinho in a conversation between the two that he would not regret Liverpool’s decision to keep him away from Barcelona."

Coutinho has been heavily linked with Barcelona since Neymar left the Nou Camp for PSG.

I bet Barca thought that going on international duty and out of the way of Liverpool would make their job of turning his head easier. I am so glad to see Barca squirm like this.

Pride, please name a player who is worth what is being offered for them in the top-flight current market.

Not a bad call mate. How much did he cost?

I wonder if some rival fans ever take a step back and look at what they are posting on our board. Its always nice to take some time to analyse yourself and be honest about your emotions and why they are making you say the things you are saying, or even think the way you're thinking.

I believe that this is actually the next step in evolution; gotta keep watch over your own awareness.

Funny that you lambasted us for spending £90m for an already world established International player and you've just supposedly offered £70m + Origi on loan for somebody nowhere near as established.

Let the backtracking commence.

No need for backtracking.

You paid £90m a year before the market really went batshit crazy. It was probably your club buying Pogba that sent the transfer market insane.

The £90m you paid last year would be the equivalent of PSG paying £200m for Neymar. Totally unjustified and vastly overpriced.

I still think it's in our interests to keep Coutinho this season. I can see us needing a player of his quality as the season goes on. If a player on the calibre of Neymar is advising him to stay, then that's hopefully going to have influence on his thoughts.
