I asked what was the point of the article? I did not say it was a pointless article. I assume you had a reason or motivation to write it.

The point was surely to start a discussion on a moral topic related to football. You're the one trying to start an argument and make it about scoring points...

I gave opinion on these types of articles, whether it leads to an argument or debate is inconsequential and down to other posters views. As I said these moral high ground/attempt to pointscore articles are a blemish on the site imo and given it is littered with emojis, pls don't try and make out it is something it isn't.

It's a discussion about Rooney with some jokes in it. We all support different clubs here, of course there are going to be moments where one fan knocks another team or player. That's life.

The amount of Leeds comments I get... You just have to get over it.

Speaking of point scoring, I hope Rooney's filled up his licence with points and gets banned. My mum could have been killed in an accident caused by another drunk driver years ago. Driving in this manner is no laughing matter and should be treated accordingly. In his case it probably won't. Don't get me started on using phones and driving either.
