Some of these groups are a joke. How the hell are Faroe Islands and Andorra in the same group?
What criteria allows Gibraltar to be in it?
As for 3/4 teams qualifying from CONCACAF.

The elite teams
England
Germany
Italy
Spain
Brazil
Argentina
France (wildcard)
Should all automatically qualify for the World Cup proper, the rest go through via knock out basis, that way the tournament retains its prestige and anyone winning it will have earned it fair and square

😂😂😂😂
Just have the top 6 in the EPL as well.
And the top 4 in the CL.
ffs. A wum surely. 😂

swap Uruguay in for England
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Don't know if you're on the wum or not mate but that's not remotely funny
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Uruguay have wn workd cup twice and many copa americas
England have one (influenced) world cup and zero euros
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There's a fair bit of iffy evidence 66 was fixed to some degree.

What, exactly, was fixed?

Can you imagine the WC being held in Uruguay?
The wags would be attacked by the local savages at every opportunity

the refereeing, especially in Germanu-Uruguay, Argentina-England and England-Portogal, as well as the finale
changes to the venue for semi finale moved from Liverpool to London the day before the game with Portogal having to pack up and travel to Lndon. England, bizarrely, had not travelled to Liverpool and were already in London.

That's interesting. So basically, you're defending the antics of both the Uruguayan and Argentinians teams on the day, regardless of the fact that that the West Germany-Uruguay fixture had a English referee appointed and a West German official covered our match. Coincidental?...maybe and as for the Guardian and it's theory, I shall research its claims further. 🙂

Have it your way then. We will have qualifying groups that contain England, Germany, Italy and France. Let's see how many tournaments England qualify for then.
