Some on here will think it fair that NK are allowed to have their own nuclear weapons but surely them having them makes the Korean Peninsula and surround areas a much more dangerous place?
Surely China would always protect them from invasion so for them to actively try to procure nuclear weapons can and might be viewed by China as an act of aggression
If China step aside how do people think a war with the US might go? I'd imagine Seoul will be obliterated by NK before Pyongyang falls. Possibly most of the rest of SK as well. Pretty sure Europe and most of the rest of the world will be fine but scary times to be in Japan or South East Asia let alone be in any part of Korea. If it all kicks off expect millions of refugees arriving in China.

Unless there was another later Korean war my understanding was they pretty much did until Chinese troops flooded in to stop them and push them back.
Although I agree N. Korea have firepower, unsure exactly on their nuclear status but wouldn't doubt it.
