FIFA ratings have been getting higher and higher all the time.

It used to be you only got a handful of players in the high 80s, now you have literally dozens.

Cheapens the game imo.

I disagree, in FIFA 04-FIFA 08 PL players were regularly in the high 80s to 90s... Cech, Terry, Lamps, Drogba, Vidic, Ferdinand, Ronaldo, Rooney, Henry, Bergkamp, Carragher, Gerrard, Torres etc and thats just the PL players.

But they were all better players than 99% of the PL now lol

Fair point, although I wasn't really playing it much during that time.

However it becomes even more ridiculous when you get a succession of TOTWs in FUT which pushes mediocre players into the high 80s and 90s.

Ridiculous upgrades on TOTW are what put me off FUT this year more than any other.

They just churn out cards for everything; Halloween, Xmas, New Years, Bob's Birthday.

It got to the point where you have players on like 90 pace who are never even close to it in real life.

I get it, people spend sh/t loads on packs and FIFA make insane amount of money but it's too gimmicky for me now.

This offends me

The ratings were pretty consistent for like 5 years but they've abandoned that recently. How can Suarez/Neymar be 92 rated if Messi is 93 rated and Ronaldo was stuck on 92 for years despite scoring 50+ goals every season.
