On a cold night up North

... No problem. Brum as expected came to show why they are playoff hopefuls this year and we saw why. However we showed why we are potential title challengers.

This league is 7 games in and we are as the table shows the best team so far. To say we are going for the playoffs is almost insulting at this point because we have seen some good teams fail to beat us and more so fail to keep us from getting points.

Fulham
Forest
Preston
Brum

This time last year we were relegation fodder and then turned it around, the teams below can brush off their bad starts. However we now have to be "caught". Maybe Saturday we will slip up, but for now Leeds United are top of the league and looking like the very best team in the division.

I'll drink to that MOT.

Cellino and GFH ....yawn ..... we always try to hang people who disagree with you with that old chestnut.

Philips is an important and underrated element of our winning, top of the table, unbeaten and hardly conceded a goal side. TC picks him each time, I suspect because of the work he does to disrupt the opposition. It's why he doesn't get the limelight as much ..... Saiz going past players and showing class will always catch the eye, and the plaudits, far more.

He does the dirty stuff, he gets stuck in, he breaks up play - yes he misses tackles and last night wasn't as good as Saturday - but then I could level that against Lassoga, Pablo and others. Yet its this morning that Phillips cops it (again).

You're absolutely entitled to an opinion, as I am to reply. If you disagree with a poster you'll say it, bluntly and directly - am I not able to do that without 2 or 3 year old stuff being dragged up each time?

Have to agree Phillips wasn't good enough last night, but he's young and improved massively this season.

Away from home when we set up differently it suits his style better.

You came on here having a go at people making an opinion on here.

Nobody else was doing that, they were giving their opinion and people were debating about it.

You came on trying to stir things up without actually giving an opinion about Phillip

You used to the exact same thing with cellino

That's the point !!!!!!!

I didn't stir anything up - I just provided an opinion on Phillips and how I feel some are giving an unfair hard time.

For you to get all sensitive about somebody making a dig, is a bit rich.

With Cellino - I backed him when he first joined, like others before. But I held my hands up after a few months and said I had it wrong - for which you praised me at the time.

If stirring things up is disagreeing with you, then yes I have. I do think some of the comments about Phillips are unfair. It wasn't his best performance last night, but then don't underestimate the midfield he was up against - it's the best we've faced yet this season.

I still come back to it, TC is picking him. We're winning and he's been an integral part of that success.

Phil Hay gave Kalvin 6/10. All team were in 6-8/10 range. It's all opinions. Kalvin's a goal scorer on top of doing the dirty work. Real asset.

Lubo

Yes he did me too, that's the type of player we lack, rapid and direct.

Thought jota oozed class too.

Played them at the right time.

Defensively we look rock solid
