Graham Taylor, A55hole.

I'm ashamed to say he managed my club.

As I've said before Bute using an era for an axcuse is abysmal, he should have stood up and said what was going on and nott let that sc um get away with it.

Oh and by the way no im not classing him in the same bracket as jimmy saville.

"Perton hasn't done anything that would instigate legal activity"

Not on this board but his activity with sheep and other farm animals may very well contravene the laws, not only of the land but those of common decency!

I saw the interview with the now middle aged victim and he clearly stated Taylor told him not to rock the boat at such an early stage of his career!
The female journalist pushed him as to if his memory was correct after so many years,he stated categorically on television that it was therefore Taylor is complicit in the abuse as far as I'm concerned!

Im glad someone else is appalled at his actions and those arguing against me should be ashamed.

By that logic because you say Perton has an overly amorous history with sheep, he is guilty case closed. Except Perton can respond and refute yr allegation, and Taylor can't.

Doesn't mean i think either is false or true, just that for now there are not enough facts to judge on what happened decades ago and to what extent Taylor or others knew/were complicit. Which is why being outraged makes no sense and why this kind of thread has no place on JA606 IMO.

others may see that differently and want to have a long, debate on criminal law without anywhere near the full facts or context, which is their choice. I'll dip out here.

I wonder how much The Guardian has paid Tony Brien for his story. Strange that it has taken 29 years for him to find his voice. Perhaps if he had come out with this some years ago, Graham Taylor would have had a chance to refute the allegations against him.
Unlike some I have never been 100% convinced of anything until I have heard both sides of a story.

Strange how long it took to come out about Jimmy Saville.

Hmmm....
