We played in spurts against thistle on Friday. But overall I thought we were too slow on the ball, to many touches and didn't press Thistle enough when we didn't have the ball. It was one of our poorer performances.
Morelos still continues to impress. Super finish. As was Dorran's
Moving onto next week it seems we have injuries issues with both left backs. I'm inclined to think Celtic will start with both 2 up top - Griffiths and Dembele
So maybe we'll see a change of tactic from Pedro going into this game. I can see us maybe going with a back 3 to combat that, putting more responsibility on Candeias and Windass to work the flanks.
For me KM needs to drop to bench. Despite his experience of the fixture, he just does not link the play well. Nor does he partner Morelos well enough.
I could see us going 3-2-3-2

Would mean Tav missing out.. But Dorrans and Jack to provide the cover of the back 3 and Candeias and Windass to work the flanks and give cover in the RB and LB positions.
Pena to start. He's match fit now and gets into good positions. So would fit this formation well.
Hererra is perfect wingman for Morelos. Wins a lot of high balls and knock downs. Morales needs that kind of partner or feed off.
Thoughts ? Too attacking ? Would it leave defence exposed ? I think this is a game we need to play with high energy for 90 minutes. We can't sit back. We have to take the game to Celtic form the 1st whistle and continue it for 90 minutes.

Six days to go to the match and some Bears are already dusting off and bringing out 2 of their favourite comfort blankets. One is that old chestnut "Broony and the kebab" from TWO AND A HALF YEARS AGO. The other is the "Yeez were humped by PSG" from a few days ago.

Rangers are stronger than last year but our defence is still a weakness , and Celtic are still very strong if not better than last season.
So I am going for a draw or a win for Celtic.
Think Morales could score as he is in great form. It will be hard for rangers to stop Celtic scoring though unfortunately!
My heart says a narrow rangers win.
