No way Sturridge starts all 3 games! That can't have happened for 3 years.

Re the game tonight I'm the same to be honest. Not bovved about the League Cup this year.

I want an FA Cup run though as we have been so bad in that recently.

I'm quite looking forward to it. Be good to see more of Ox and Grujic plus posdibly Woodburn.

FA cup is more of a hindrance for Klopp. Just completed the manic festive fixtures and the league table is shaping up where we will either be trying to consolidate or playing catchup so the league will come first. Then in mid Feb we could be playing in the CL.

We wont have the squad to focus on all 3. It is much easier to get to the league cup final than FA cup.

Oh absolutely looking forward to seeing us play.

Just not that fussed if we get through or not.

And Kash I don't agree we don't have the squad.

We didn't have in the first season so Klopp sacked the FA Cup because we were already deep in the LC and he wanted to win the Europa.

Last season we were deep in the LC and we had an injury crisis.

Hopefully it will be different come January/February this year.

Sounds like Flanno won't be starting.

Never expected Flanagan to start...nor Ings tbh.

I agree that not a lot of focus should be exerted on the LC. I think the motivational tool should be that those who know they aren't first choice should use this cup and a chance to enhance the mins of first team football they get to play by ensuring that we progress.

Other than that if we go out tonight, it's not the end of the world.
